Will the cost and pain of business travel push companies to use video?

With airlines folding and charging you for new things each day ("Sir, I just smiled at you, that will be $3 please) and gas prices approaching ludicrous…will firms begin leveraging the nifty tools available to them?  We all leverage that ubiquitous "conference call"…but how about video, multimedia presentations, and video conferencing?

I hope that the economic pain we’re feeling now will lead to adoption of these available modes of communication.  Instead of driving or flying around to pitch prospects…can we create video presentations instead that will blow them away?  I think so.
